On 20 February 2025, Shihihutug University had the honor of welcoming Her Excellency Dr. Borbála Obrusánszky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Mongolia. The visit was organized to strengthen academic and cultural ties between the university and Hungarian institutions.
Professor Danzan Lundeejantsan (Sc.D), Founder of Shihihutug University and Chairman of the Academic Council, warmly received Ambassador Obrusánszky. During their meeting, they discussed the university’s ongoing collaborations with Hungarian universities and explored opportunities to further deepen cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. G. Amarjargalan (Ph.D), Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research; L. Munkhdemberel, Vice-Rector for Administration and Operations; and Dr. B. Narmandakh (Ph.D), Director of the Research Institute. They provided an overview of the university’s academic and research activities and shared insights into its partnerships with Hungarian institutions.
As part of her visit, Ambassador Obrusánszky delivered a lecture titled “The History of Diplomatic Relations Between Mongolia and Hungary” for Shihihutug University students. She shared her experiences as a Mongolist scholar, reflected on her connections with Mongolia, and engaged in a lively discussion with students during a Q&A session.
Shihihutug University values its strong academic and cultural ties with Hungary and looks forward to further collaboration in the future.
